عالمة في الكيمياء الحيوية والأحياء البيئية، واشتهرت بأبحاثها على تأثير مضادات الأورام في سم الأفاعي.
حصلت د. فوزية علي الدكتوراه من جامعة برمنجهام بإنجلترا عام 1965، وتعمل حاليا استاذة الكيمياء الحيوية بجامعة عين شمس.
عينت الدكتورة فوزية رئيسة قسم الأحياء والعلوم الطبيعية، هيئة علوم وأبحاث البيئة في جامعة عين شمس من عام 1983- 1985.
Professor of biochemistry at Ain Shams University, and an
environmental biologist, Fawzia Fahim was known for her work
on the anti-tumoral effects of snake venom and iodoacetate. She
received her PhD from Birmingham University, England, in 1965.
She chaired the Department of Biology and Natural Sciences,
Institute of Environmental Studies and Research, at Ain Shams
University from 1983 to 1989.
