قدّم نيافة الأنبا يوسف، أسقف بوليفيا وتوابعها، الشكر للسفير حاتم النشار، سفير مصر لدى بوليفيا، على جهوده في إنهاء الأوراق المطلوبة بالتنسيق مع الكنيسة القبطية هناك، من أجل تعديل الشخصية القانونية للكنيسة القبطية في بوليفيا ، والتي كانت قد حصلت عليها عام 2002، وذلك وفقًا للقوانين الجديدة الصادرة في بوليفيا. كما وجّه الشكر للسلطات البوليفية على تقديرها الدائم للكنيسة القبطية.
وأوضح نيافة الأنبا يوسف أن الكنيسة بدأت خلال السنوات الماضية في تقديم أوراق جديدة لتعديل الشخصية القانونية المعترف بها عام 2002، بما يتماشى مع التشريعات الحديثة الخاصة بالمؤسسات الدينية في بوليفيا. وقد سبق أن عُقد لقاء مشترك ضمّ الكنيسة والسفير المصري مع وزيرة خارجية بوليفيا، السيدة سيليندا سوسا، التي أعربت عن اعتزازها بالكنيسة القبطية، مشيرًا للقائها مع قداسة البابا تواضروس الثاني بالمقر البابوي بالقاهرة في نوفمبر الماضي وتطرقها لهذا الأمر، حيث عبّرت عن إعجابها بقداسته وتقديرها لتاريخ الكنيسة القبطية، حيث أشادت بالخدمات التعليمية والاجتماعية التي تقدمها الكنيسة القبطية، وقدمت لقداسته دعوة رسمية لزيارة بوليفيا.
وتُعد الكنيسة القبطية في بوليفيا إحدى المؤسسات النشطة والفعالة، إذ تقوم بأنشطة تنموية واجتماعية في مختلف المجالات، تحظى بترحيب وتقدير المؤسسات الرسمية في بوليفيا وأمريكا اللاتينية. كما تحافظ على تواصل وتنسيق مستمر مع السفارة المصرية، في إطار الجهود المشتركة لتعزيز اسم مصر وتمثيلها في مختلف المناسبات.
Amendment of the Legal Status of the Coptic Church in Bolivia after its Official Recognition in 2002
His Grace Bishop Youssef, Bishop of Bolivia and its affiliated regions, expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Hatem El-Nashar, Egypt’s Ambassador to Bolivia, for his efforts in finalizing the required documents in coordination with the Coptic Church there, in order to amend the legal status of the Coptic Church in Bolivia, which had originally been granted in 2002, in accordance with the new laws issued in Bolivia. He also extended his thanks to the Bolivian authorities for their continued appreciation of the Coptic Church.
His Grace Bishop Youssef explained that in recent years, the Church has begun submitting new documents to amend the legal status recognized in 2002, in line with the updated legislation governing religious institutions in Bolivia. A joint meeting had previously been held between the Church and the Egyptian Ambassador with the Bolivian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Celinda Sosa, who expressed her esteem for the Coptic Church. He also referred to her meeting with His Holiness Pope Tawadros II at the Papal Residence in Cairo last November, during which she raised this matter and voiced her admiration for His Holiness, as well as her deep appreciation for the history of the Coptic Church. She further commended the educational and social services provided by the Church and extended an official invitation to His Holiness to visit Bolivia.
The Coptic Church in Bolivia is regarded as one of the active and influential institutions in the country, engaging in developmental and social activities across various fields, and receiving wide recognition from official institutions in Bolivia and Latin America. It also maintains constant communication and coordination with the Egyptian Embassy, as part of joint efforts to enhance Egypt’s image and representation on different occasions.
