رائدة صحافة المرأة وناشطة نسوية، كانت الوكيلة السابقة لنقابة الصحفيين والأمين العام السابق للاتحاد النسائي العربي.
انضمت أمينة السعيد الي الاتحاد النسائي المصري وهي في الرابعة عشرة من عمرها.
في عام 1931 التحقت بكلية الأداب بجامعة الملك فؤاد ضمن أول دفعة تضم ثلاثة فتيات، وحصلت على ليسانس آداب اللغة النجليزية عام 1935 .
أصبحت رئيسة تحرير مجلة حواء النسائية في عام 1954 ورئيس تحرير مجلة المصور في عام 1973.
A pioneer of women journalism and a women rights activist, Amina El Said was former secretary of the journalist’s syndicate and former secretary general of the Pan-Arab League Womens Union. She joined the youth wing of the Egyptian Feminist Union at the age of 14.
She was among the first three women to attend King Fouad University in 1931 and earned a degree in English literature in 1935.
She became chief editor of the women’s magazine Hawaa (Eve) in 1954 and chief editor of Al Musawar magazine in 1973.
