صوفى ويصا هي فنانة ونساجة وشريكة مؤسسة فى مركز رمسيس ويصا واصف للفنون.
وفي عام 1948، أسست مع زوجها مركز الفنون في قرية الحرانية لتعليم أهالي القرية نسج السجاد والكليم اليدوي.
بعد رحيل زوجها في عام 1974، أصبحت هي المسؤولة عن مهام المركز والأشراف على الفنانين الذين كان زوجها قد بدأ تدريبهم ليصبحوا الجيل الأول من فناني النسج.
قامت صوفي ببناء متحف النسج في حديقة المركز، حيث جمعت فيه المجموعة الفنية الخاصة لزوجها واعماله، وابرزت تطور النساجين منذ البدايات الأولي للمشروع.
ويضم المتحف أيضا بعضا من أعمالها الخاصة.
Sophie Wissa is an artist, a weaver and co-founder of Ramzy Wissa Wassef Center for the Arts. In 1948, together with her husband, they started the Art Center in the village of Harrania to teach the villagers weaving tapestry.Afterthe death of her husband in 1974, she took charge of the center. She also mentored the artists whom her husband had started training to become the first generation of weaving artists. She built a Weaving Museum in the garden of the center, which exhibits Wissa Wassef’s collection of art and tapestry, and shows the development of the weavers since the early days of the project. The museum also includes some of her collection.
