from Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University - June 1941
From July 1941 to July 1942
Assistant Professor Heat Engines Laboratory for Applied
Engineering School, Cairo.
From July 1942 to July 1944
Assistant to Chief Engineer Technical Department at Mobil Oil
Company, Cairo Egypt.
From July 1944
started my own firm NACITA Cairo with its staff who developed to
270 persons till 1960, when the Nationalisation came (in 1956 this
NACITA Company was the king of the trade in Egypt for Steel and
Tyres with a market proportion of 55% at 40% respectively of the
whole Egyptian market.
This firm NACITA still exists but the ownership belongs now to my
brother.
From 1961
emmigrated to Switzerland (to escape Nasser's personal persecution
to me) and returned only in June 1971 to Egypt after the
death of Nasser.
Started again activity in Egypt 1971 under the name of
Okinah-AG, later on changed to NACITA-OKINAH with head office in
Höschgasee 33, till today.
From 1971 till 1986
commuting between Cairo and Höschgasse, and from 1987 due
to age and health problems, stopped this commuting* and
concentrating personal activities in Höschgasse while Cairo's
management were left to our Chief Sales Engineer and now he is
Engineer Adly A. Youssef's majority partner.
The involvemnet with Copts who are now persecuted and has reached
to unbearable levels that I had to prepare the Zürich Symposium
in September 2004, who was sponsored by Christian
Solidarity International Zürich, and Jubilee Campagin, U.K. and
Freedom House, U.S.A. A follow up mini conference was held in end
January 2005 to update the Coptic Diaspora of the very sad
events still happening in Egypt. |
